The Brand Challenge

Stay Altitude is not a typical hotel — it is an ultra-exclusive private retreat limited to just five luxury bungalows, nestled in the hills of Jamaica with panoramic views stretching from emerald mountains to the Caribbean Sea. Nightly rates range from $2,500 to $5,000, and the experience is designed for high-net-worth travelers who value privacy, personalized service, and barefoot island elegance.

Rodney, the owner, had spent years developing the property and curating an experience that rivals the best boutique resorts in the Caribbean. But when it came time to take bookings and announce the retreat to the world, he had no website, no brand identity, and no system to handle reservations or communicate the level of luxury he was offering.

The challenge was clear: build a digital presence so compelling that visitors feel the five-star experience through their screens — and then make it easy for them to book.

What We Built

A Luxury Brand Identity

We started by establishing a brand identity that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s finest resorts. The visual language centers on a dark, cinematic palette — deep charcoal backgrounds paired with warm gold accents that evoke exclusivity and sophistication. Typography blends elegant serifs for headings with clean sans-serifs for body text, striking the balance between timeless luxury and modern readability.

The Altitude logo, top bar with direct phone and email, and the persistent gold “Reserve Now” button in the navigation all reinforce the premium positioning from the first pixel.

Immersive Homepage Experience

The homepage is designed as a cinematic journey. A full-screen hero section with an animated rotating headline — “Experience the Peak of Comfort / Serenity / Luxury with Altitude” — immediately sets the tone. Below, visitors discover the amenity icon bar (Dining, Free WiFi, Concierge, Wellness, Laundry, Security), a curated bungalow showcase with nightly rates and quick amenity tags, the brand philosophy section with an elegant pull-quote, a full benefits breakdown with custom iconography, a guest testimonials carousel featuring international visitors, and a comprehensive FAQ accordion addressing common questions about inclusions, dining, wellness, and group bookings.

Every section flows intentionally toward the reservation CTA, creating a conversion funnel disguised as storytelling.

Individual Bungalow Pages

Each of the five bungalows — Blue Mist, Bush Tea, Palm Shade, Hummingbird’s Nest, and Zenith Peak — has its own dedicated product page that functions as a mini landing page. These pages include a hero description capturing the unique character of each bungalow, room specifications (square footage, bed configuration, max occupancy), an amenity grid with custom icons for Wi-Fi, hot spa, mini-bar, plunge pool, air conditioning, smart TV, and luxury bathroom amenities, a “Wow-Factor Upgrades” section listing premium add-ons like private chef, butler service, chauffeured car, in-room spa treatments, rooftop terrace, and welcome champagne, an image gallery, a WooCommerce booking widget with date picker and add-on service selection, and bungalow-specific FAQs.

The Zenith Peak Bungalow — the flagship at $5,000 per night — showcases the full depth of this approach, positioned as the crown jewel of the collection with private Jacuzzi, plunge pool, and uninterrupted mountain-to-sea views.

WooCommerce Booking System

Rather than a generic booking plugin, we built the reservation system on WooCommerce, allowing each bungalow to function as a product with date selection and premium add-on services that guests can select during booking. Butler service ($650) and chauffeured car service ($550) are available as line-item additions, making the upsell seamless and elegant. The system includes a full cart experience, customer account management, and order tracking.

Trust & Social Proof

For a luxury property taking $2,500+ per night bookings online, trust is everything. We built this through a four-testimonial carousel featuring guests from London, New York, Paris, and Sydney, partnership logo displays on both the homepage and About page, a detailed FAQ section addressing everything from airport transfers to wellness services, professional photography throughout, and clear contact information (phone, email, location) displayed in the top bar on every page.

The Outcome

Stay Altitude launched with a digital presence that matches the caliber of the physical property. Five luxury bungalows are showcased with dedicated pages, a functioning booking system accepts reservations with premium add-ons, and the brand identity communicates ultra-luxury at every touchpoint.

The site is already being used to accept pre-bookings ahead of the 2026 full launch, and Rodney reports that showing the website to prospective guests is his most powerful sales tool — the design and UX do the selling before he says a word.

The platform is built to scale — as Stay Altitude expands its offerings, adds seasonal packages, or introduces new experiences, the system can handle it without a redesign.
