07 How We Work

A simple process. Documented at every step.

We don’t reinvent the wheel every project. Four phases, weekly demos, fixed deliverables, and a signed Statement of Work. Here’s exactly how it works.

Weekly Demos
Every Friday, on a private staging URL.
How we work

A four-phase process with weekly demos and no hidden milestones.

Week 1

Discovery

We learn your business — not from a questionnaire, from a conversation. We study your competitors, your customers, and what you actually need the site to do. You receive a written brief and a fixed quote.

Weeks 2–3

Design

Wireframes first, then high-fidelity design in Figma. You approve each screen before it moves to development. No surprises, no "design by committee" Slack threads.

Weeks 3–6

Build

Clean, semantic code. Weekly progress demos on a staging URL you can share. We run performance, accessibility, and SEO audits as we go — not after launch.

Week 6+

Launch & support

Deploy, monitor, measure. We stay for 30 days post-launch, included. After that, most clients move to a lightweight care plan. Most don't need to.

Start Week 1

Timelines are typical. Your project may differ. We’ll give you an exact one in the first conversation.

/02 The Difference

A small team that takes on
fewer projects, more carefully.

Larger agencies are built to scale through volume — more clients, more account managers, more layers between you and the people making the work. We run the agency the other way: a senior team, a short client list, and the time to think carefully about each project before we ship anything.

01

No account managers

You work directly with the people building your project. No translation layer, no weekly “check-ins” that don’t move the work forward.

02

Fixed scope, fixed price

We quote a number before we start. We hit it. No surprise invoices, no “out of scope” negotiations, no hourly meter in the background.

03

Written agreements, not handshakes

Every engagement has a signed Statement of Work with exact deliverables, timelines, and payment terms. You know what you’re getting before you pay anything.

04

Proof before polish

We ship working builds early and iterate in public with you. You never wait eight weeks to see a “big reveal” that misses the mark.

Apps and AI chatbots are scoped separately. On a 20-minute call we can tell you accurately which bracket fits your project.
Between two weeks and three months. Most websites ship in 4–6 weeks. Mobile apps run 6–12 weeks. AI chatbots launch in 1–3 weeks. SEO programs are continuous — early movement in 60–90 days, compounding after six months.
Yes. All IP — source code, design files, AI prompts, account credentials — transfers to you on final payment. We keep nothing. You can fire us tomorrow and walk away with everything.
Senior practitioners with 8+ years of shipping experience. No juniors, no agencies-behind-agencies. Everyone who works on your project is listed by name in your Statement of Work, and you have direct access to them on Slack or WhatsApp throughout.
No. We quote fixed scope and fixed price. For ongoing work (SEO, content, AI tuning, maintenance) we offer monthly retainers with fixed deliverables — never hours.
Every engagement includes 30–90 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and minor edits. After that, optional care plans from $150/mo or evolution retainers from $1,200/mo.
Yes, and we often do. Bring your brand guidelines, Figma library, preferred stack — we adapt to your team, not the other way around.
SiteDiv is a small, distributed studio working US Eastern business hours. We invoice in USD, are reachable on Slack, WhatsApp, or email throughout your workday, and respond same-day during US business hours. Weekly demos happen at whatever time suits you. The point is access to the senior people doing the work — and the same person on your first call is the one designing and writing the code.
